Sharon is the Chief Executive of Be Caring, and oversaw the company’s transformation from CASA, a struggling organisation to a financially prudent employee-owned social enterprise.
Under her leadership Be Caring has has been able to reward and incentivise colleagues in recognition of the hard work.
Sharon was appointed in 2018 from Locala, where she had worked as their Director of Finance and Business Development since 2015.

Jane Townson is CEO of the Homecare Association. She has extensive experience in the social care, health, housing and technology sectors. Chair of the Board of Kraydel; formerly CEO Somerset Care Group; and Chairman YourLife (JV with McCarthy & Stone). Jane’s first career was in international leadership roles in research and development in ICI, AstraZeneca and Syngenta, where she was Global Head of Bioscience Research. She then established her own business providing consultancy and training on the link between lifestyle factors and public health, working with private individuals and public sector organisations.

I have 40years of experience working in both clinical and managerial roles across NHS, Care Home, Homecare, Out of Hours and Clinical Governance. As the Managing Director of The Good Care Group, my focus was on continuing to deliver a service that enabled people to live well at home. In my current role as the Director of Nursing and Care my focus remains on driving improved outcomes for all our clients.

Phil has over 15 years working in health and social care, covering home care, specialist care, extra care, supported living, complex and residential care. As Head of Digital Transformation Phil was the driving force behind City & County Healthcare’s development and adoption of an integrated digital care management platform. Currently working with Barnardo’s to delivery their emerging technology and continuous improvement strategy. Phil is also the Co-Founder of AVERio, a connected care and fall detection platform that is transforming care pathways and increasing independence.
