This interactive four-hour webinar course, led by Dr. Kirsten Protherough, equips domiciliary homecare professionals with essential skills in managing frailty.

Understanding frailty and initial assessment

- Assessing mood, memory, and mobility
Identifying illness, access to multidisciplinary teams, and nutrition
- Recognising early signs of illness
- Access to multidisciplinary teams and escalation procedures

Managing medications, skin care, and preventive measures
- Polypharmacy and medication review
- Skin care in frailty
Advance care planning and end-of-life considerations
- Advance care planning (ACP)
- End-of-life care

After each unit participants will be sign posted to practical tools, digital resources, including the RESTORE2 tool and the Frailty Core Capability Framework.

There will be interactive exercises during the course and a continuous case study is used throughout.
