Review and republish your Data Security and Protection Toolkit by 30 June

The Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) is an online self-assessment tool to support providers in England to ensure that they share and store data securely. Many NHS commissioners require the completion of DSPT and local authority commissioners and CQC inspectors may also ask about whether it has been completed. 

The toolkit needs to be completed / updated annually and the deadline is 30 June 2024.

The Better Security, Better Care programe have a free session on 18 June from 15.00-16.00 to support providers with this process, including understanding what has changed this year.
