Ombudsman publishes model complaint processes and template letters

Further to last week’s review of complaints, the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman's office has re-launched its complaint handling resources for independent care providers. These are designed to support good complaint handling in adult social care settings and include a model complaint process, template letters and a signposting guide.
 

Flu and COVID-19 vaccination programme gets underway

NHS England has invited 11 million people to come forward for vaccines. There are walk-in Covid vaccination sites. The organisation believes that the social, economic, and health challenges we face are best solved through collaboration. They have launched dedicated taskforces composed of cross-sector experts and representatives.
