Fee increase approved by Scottish Ministers

Ministers have approved an increase in registration fees from 1 April 2026 for supervisors, practitioners and support staff registered with the Scottish Social Services Council. There is no increase in care managers' rates.
 

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV): vaccination for older adults

People not yet vaccinated against RSV who are aged 75-79 or turned 80 after 1 September 2024 are invited to book an appointment with their GP.  There is guidance which now includes translated versions.
 

Pharmacists - potential work to rule could limit hours of opening and deliveries

The Pharmacist is reporting that the National Pharmacy Association (NPA) has advised its members in England to reduce opening hours, as a funding deal has not been announced, a move that could see NPA pharmacies give notice that they will reduce their opening hours from 1 April to core contractual minimums.
