CareFind to launch nationally on 10 October

CareFind is a free service to help citizens find care, developed by NECS, who developed Capacity Tracker. Circa 5,000 care homes promote their services and vacancies on CareFind, free of charge. Homecare is not included at this stage, but may be later. The directory of services on nhs.uk has been updated to include a link to CareFind, and this is being widely publicised as CareFind launches nationally on 10 October 2024.
 

Skills for Care’s ‘Making a difference with data’ campaign

Skills for Care is running a campaign this month to showcase the impact of data on social care. The ‘Making a difference with data’ campaign will focus on the vital nature of data to the adult social care sector, why it’s important to maintain high quality data and how employers can contribute their data by using the Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS).
 

UK Covid-19 Inquiry Hearings Weekly Round Up

The UK Covid-19 Inquiry is issuing weekly updates, which refer to current and upcoming hearings.  The Inquiry is four weeks into hearings related to Module 3: Impact of Covid-19 pandemic on healthcare systems in the four nations of the UK.
