The latest statistics from the Department of Health and Social Care show that, as of May 2024, 70% (to the nearest whole number) of adult social care providers are estimated to have digital social care records (DSCR).

This is an increase from 63% as of February 2024. In April 2024 the former Health Minister for Social Care, Helen Whately MP, extended the target that 80% of providers would have DSCRs from March 2024 to March 2025.

The former Minister also announced an additional £25 million in funding to support provider to make the switch. Digitising Social Care have launched a campaign 'Tick tock - the clock is ticking' to remind providers there's a limited time to access funding to go digital You can find out more about that here.
