In March 2022, the former Health Secretary, set a the target that 80% of social care providers would have digitalised records by March 2024.
Last week. the Shadow Minister for Social Care, Andrew Gwynne MP, submitted a written question to Helen Whately MP, the Minister for Social care about the government’s target for digitalising social care records.
In response, the Minister has announced that a new deadline has been set for March 2025 for the 80% target. With an additional £25 million in funding available to support providers. The full response can be found here.
