Minimum Wage for April 2025 £12.21 per hour
The Government has confirmed that the National Living Wage will increase by 6.7% to £12.21 per hour in April 2025. This will bring the National Living Wage to the highest ever level at two-thirds of median earnings. Wage rates for those aged 20 and under have also increased:

It is important that the Government funds increased wage costs in the care sector so that employers can offer a fair and competitive wage to careworkers.
We will respond to the Budget. We are updating our Minimum Price for Homecare for 2025-26 and will publish this later in the year to support 2025-26 fee negotiations.
