The Adult Social Care (ASC) Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS) launched in September 2024. Eligible employers can claim varying levels of reimbursement from this fund for spending on upskilling aspects of their workforce in England. They may also be able to claim reimbursement on care skills funding, including the newly developed Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate.as identified over 39,000 ASC providers who could be eligible for the funding but, to date, only 836 organisations have signed up to the scheme. This means many eligible organisations are not claiming the funding.

Training courses:

Claims deadline: 21 March 2025 (late claims up to 31 March 2025 considered case-by-case).
Qualifications:

60% reimbursement upon start, 40% upon completion.

Initial 60% claim deadline: 21 March 2025 or within 3 months of start.

Final 40% claim deadline: within 3 months of completion (final submission by 31 December 2026 if completion extended beyond 31 March 2025).
