Homecare Insight has published its Power List 2024: Voices of the Industry

The list celebrates those driving change and using their voice to campaign for reform within the home care sector.

Congratulations to our CEO, Dr Jane Townson OBE, who made it on the list.

''Jane has led the Homecare Association for five years, and has been chair of the Care Provider Alliance for the last 12 months, providing inspirational leadership, drive, innovation, analysis and compassion, as well as a wealth of experience as a home care and residential service provider.

Her passion and drive to ensure that home care across the country meets the needs of the future is palpable. She works to deliver strong and impactful messages, which challenge shortfalls in the system, and also celebrate the golden moments.

This year, Jane has again been a voice of the industry countless times. She sits on numerous academic advisory boards to help push the frontiers of our knowledge and understanding of the sector. She works tirelessly to steer committees to deliver new programmes nationwide.

She continues to make time for new ideas and thought leadership, to attend launches of new home care provider facilities, to celebrate the successes of carers as a judge in awards ceremonies, and generally supporting people across the industry to succeed. She has attended many regional and national industry events as chair and speaker on panels.

Jane writes regularly in industry publications and is frequently quoted in national media. She represents the Homecare Association as a core participant in the Covid-19 inquiry to hold the government to account.''

Congratulations to everyone nominated, including Camille Leavold, Managing Director at Abbots Care, and John Rennison, Owner and CEO of 1st Homecare, who sit on our board.
