Equality Law Call for Evidence

The Office for Equality and Opportunity have issued a call for evidence about proposed changes to Equality Law.

This includes consideration of the Equality (Race and Disability) Bill, on equal pay claims in relation to race and disability (there is a separate consultation live on pay gap reporting for race and disability under this legislation).

The Call for Evidence also covers wider topics on the reform of equality legislation, such as questions around socio-economic inequality and the ability to bring claims where someone is discriminated against on the basis of more than one characteristic.

The Call for Evidence closes on 30 June 2025.
