Eleanor Barnet Home Care receive touching poem

At our Eleanor Barnet Home Care branch, we recently witnessed a moment that truly reflects the heart of what we do.
Mr. Steve Regis, the husband of the late Mrs. Pamela Ann Regis, visited our branch to express his heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care his beloved wife received from our carers, Manpreet Kaur and Fatima Azmiya M.
Steve brought with him a lasting tribute to Pamela’s memory - a heartfelt poem he wrote for our carers, and a beautiful saree, gifted to our branch manager, Rahamath Marzia, symbolising Pamela’s cherished memories. This touching moment reminded us of the true purpose behind our work - providing care with compassion and humanity.
We were honoured to invite Steve to our Christmas party, where he graciously recited his poem. Steve honoured our Care Worker of the Year, Dinesha Chathurangani Madugalla A Arachcilage, recognising her outstanding dedication and commitment. A Book of Poems written by Steve for Pamela stood as a poignant reminder of the deep bonds we create with the families we serve.
We are immensely grateful to Steve for sharing his story and to our incredible care workers, whose dedication continues to make a difference every day.
