DBS filtering rules are changing from 28 November 2020
Due to a change in legislation the filtering rules for Disclosure and Barring Service checks are changing. The new rules will affect Standard and Enhanced DBS certificates issued on or after 28 November 2020.
DBS will no longer disclose youth reprimands, youth warnings, or youth cautions. They will also no longer automatically disclose all convictions where an individual has more than one conviction. Instead, each individual conviction will be assessed against the appropriate rules.
