The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are looking to employee a permanent Chief Executive.

They said: “We are committed to ensuring that our regulation is more relevant to the way care is now delivered, more flexible to manage risk and uncertainty, with an ability to respond in a quicker and more proportionate way as the health and care environment continues to evolve. While our role as a regulator does not change, we need to continue to evolve the way that we work. We are now seeking to appoint a Chief Executive to lead the organisation through what will be the most critical phase in its development.”

The application deadline is Tuesday 17 September. With shortlisted candidates being decided towards the third week of September.
