CQC requirement and rule on dependants comes into force for international recruitment
Today the changes to the immigration rules, which mean that visas for careworkers are only accessible to providers in England if they are registered with the Care Quality Commission, have come into force. Rules restricting careworkers ability to bring dependants to the country have also come into force. You can read the press release here:

We are anticipating further rule changes to be laid later this week regarding the new salary threshold for careworkers, which should come into force in early April. It is likely these will be based upon the Migration Advisory Committee's (MAC) recommendations:
