The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is asking providers for feedback to help improve their regulatory approach, following the recent reviews by Dr Dash and Professor Richards.
Join upcoming co-design sessions in the coming months as they develop new ratings characteristics for rated services. Providers’ input will help define what constitutes good and outstanding care.
Deputy Director of Regulatory Model and Governance, Dave James, will lead two interactive Microsoft Teams sessions:
- Session 1: Wednesday 23 October, 10-11:30am (Register by 21 October, 10am).
- Session 2: Tuesday 5 November, 10-11:30am (Register by 31 October, 10am).
Places for these sessions are limited. Please note that there is one place allowed per organisation.
Each session will present proposed ratings characteristics before participants move into breakout rooms for focused discussions. Providers will have the opportunity to shape these changes and provide feedback.
For those unable to attend either session, the CQC will share a recording of the session on their YouTube page, and a feedback survey will be sent to attendees via the online participation platform.
