Consultation to develop new Scotland Data Strategy
The Scottish Government is aiming to publish a first Data Strategy for health and social care this year.
To inform the construction of this strategy, a consultation has been launched to gather views on how data should be gathered or managed across the sector.
Ultimately, the aim is for data to be used responsibly and that better services are developed and delivered, thus improving the health and wellbeing of the people in Scotland.
The consultation is split into sections for the public, those delivering health and care services and industry/researchers.
If you like to express your views, please visit the Scottish Government website. The consultation is open until 12 August 2022.
