The Scottish Social Services Council is seeking views on a proposed increase to SSSC registration fees.
The plan is for a small increase each year over five years with different rates for the different registrant fee levels.
For example, the proposed increase for a support worker would be £3 per year over five years, rising from the current fee of £25 to £40 in 2029/30.
The consultation closes on 23 December 2024.
