Bridget Warr receives her CBE award for social care and voluntary sector services

UKHCA Chair Mike Padgham congratulated UKHCA Chief Executive, Bridget Warr, who has just received the Commander of the British Empire (CBE) award from Her Royal Highness, Anne, the Princess Royal, on 27 October 2016:

UKHCA’s Board and executive team were thrilled to hear that Bridget’s work has been recognised at such a prestigious level.

“This CBE recognises Bridget’s commitment to ensuring that the standard of care that individuals receive at home is of the highest standard.

“As UKHCA’s CEO, Bridget is constantly striving to bring homecare to the forefront of the social care agenda and to support homecare providers. Her unwavering contribution is valued by staff and stakeholders.”

Bridget Warr said:

“It is a great honour to be awarded this CBE and receive personal and wider recognition for social care and voluntary sector work.

“This is an accolade for all the amazing work that isn’t usually publically recognised by people from social care and the voluntary sector.

“I would like to extend my thanks to the staff at UKHCA and past organisations that I have had the privilege to work with for all their support.”
