Medication - Train the Trainer Programme
This resource guide and training programme has been designed to assist homecare staff to improve their knowledge and skills in medication administration.
About the programme
Medication is an increasing aspect of care currently being requested and delivered by domiciliary care organisations. In order that medication administration is safe, organisations must ensure that their care workers are trained to a competent level to deliver medication.
The pack contains plenty of helpful materials for the trainer including a trainer’s guide, presentation slides, resources, glossary and FAQs. Learners will benefit from a learner’s workbook, handouts, written exercises, competency tests and other learning materials.
Who the pack is for
This Trainer the Trainer pack is designed for homecare staff who are responsible for training frontline care workers, enabling you to train staff flexibly and cost-effectively, in-house.
The medication pack includes a training programme to follow, suitable for first-time learners through to more experienced staff wishing to refresh their knowledge.
The pack is also an ideal reference tool when creating client care plans, as the pack folder can be kept to hand in your place of work as a useful resource whenever needed.
